What’s Poppin’ LI was never meant to be just a business — it started as a moment between family.

As a husband-and-wife duo from South Merrick, Long Island, we’ve always believed that life’s biggest memories are made in the little moments: birthdays filled with laughter, milestones surrounded by loved ones, and celebrations that make people feel truly special.

In 2021, while planning our daughter’s birthday, we searched everywhere for décor that felt unique, modern, and full of personality — but nothing felt quite right. So we decided to create it ourselves. What started as one balloon setup made with love quickly turned into something bigger. Friends started asking, then friends of friends, and before we knew it, What’s Poppin’ LI was born.

Behind every install is the same energy that started it all — creativity, teamwork, and the excitement of seeing someone walk into a space and instantly smile. Every balloon, every detail, every design is built with intention because we know these aren’t just events… they’re memories in the making.
